Mother's Day Cards II

After completing my first batch of Mother's Day cards I decided to make two more cards for the Grandmothers in my family. I was running out of time, so this was just a quick project that I put together. Here was the final product:

A simple and colorful card for a Grandmother who loves birds.

The bird stamp came from a Stampin Up set called Simple Somethings. I used my new stamp-a-majig to stamp the birds on little squares of white cardstock. Next, I colored in the birds with some copic markers. Finally, I used another Stampin' Up set called Wreath of Roses for the sentiment which I heat embossed.

I then used double sided tape to attach the colored birds to a red square to add a bit more pop to the card. Too add one final touch, I finished off the card with a strip of yellow paper... mainly because I don't use ribbon. Which I don't really use because it's a bit intimidating to me, and I also didn't have any on hand. One day, maybe I will step up to the challenge. I think it would have been pretty nice looking.

Lastly, I used a little bird stamp from a hero arts stamp set to add a little something to the outside of the envelopes.

I hope you enjoyed this card. They were super quick to make and I loved how cheery they looked. Thanks for reading!
